Validate Name and Address

If the listed name and address are correct, no action is required on your part. Your printed certificate will be automatically mailed to the address listed. Please allow 6-8 weeks for your printed certificate to arrive.

Incorrect name: If the name is incorrect, a support agent will need to correct it as soon as possible, to make sure your certificate reflects the correct spelling. To correct your name, contact the Certification Support Center

Incorrect address: If the address is incorrect, or if you’d like to use a different mailing address, login to the Certification Tracking System using the following instructions:

  • Go to the Certification Tracking
  • If you’re a first-time user of the Certification Tracking System, click on the link under "Register for the first time" from the home page.
  • Once logged in, click the "Update Personal Info" link. If your mailing address is listed incorrectly, please correct it. Under this section, you can also update your phone number. The email address is associated with your Cisco.com ID.
  • Once you’ve updated your personal information, click on the "Submit" button. Your certificate will be mailed to the new address you provided.

Note:

  • Printed certificates, plaques or awards cannot be sent to a post office box.
  • If a localized shipping label is created, it must match the preferred mailing address in your profile.
  • Any profile updates must be done within five calendar days of receiving this notification. Otherwise, the certificate will be shipped with the information as noted above.

Activate your Digital Badge

With your active certification, you also receive a digital badge that contains metadata describing your qualifications and credentials, including how you earned them. We have partnered with Acclaim, Pearson VUE's badging platform, to provide you with this new digital version of your Cisco credentials.

You can display the badge in your email signature, electronic copies of a resume and on social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter per the logo agreement and guidelines.

There is no fee for this service, and acceptance is totally up to you.

What are the benefits of an Acclaim digital badge?

  • A web-enabled version of your credentials that can be shared online
  • A more efficient way of posting to social media platforms
  • Labor market insights that relate your skills to jobs
  • A trusted method for real-time credential verification

What happens next?

If you haven't already, you'll receive an email from Acclaim with the URL and direction to claim your new digital badge.

Create an account on the Acclaim site. Account information must match your Certification profile.

Upon completion of your Acclaim account your digital badge will be ready and available for sharing.

We hope you take advantage of this new feature and enjoy the convenience and professional recognition afforded by digital badging.
